About the Role:
Cambridge Engineering Consultants is looking for a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer with strong design expertise and hands-on proficiency in Revit MEP. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering detailed electrical designs and BIM-integrated documentation for major building and infrastructure projects across the MENA region.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design of LV electrical systems (lighting, power, cable trays, earthing, panelboards, etc.) for commercial, residential, healthcare, and mixed-use projects.

Develop and review single-line diagrams, lighting calculations, power layouts, and load schedules in compliance with international codes (NEC, IEC).

Manage electrical modeling and documentation using Revit MEP, ensuring compliance with BIM standards and project-specific LOD requirements.

Coordinate electrical systems with architectural, structural, mechanical, and ICT teams, resolving design clashes and optimizing space utilization.

Supervise junior engineers and CAD/BIM technicians to ensure high-quality design deliverables.

Support technical reports, material specifications, and IFC/shop drawing packages.

Participate in internal QA/QC reviews, authority approvals, and site coordination (as needed).
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s degree is a plus).

3-5 years of proven experience in building services electrical design.

Advanced proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD; familiarity with BIM 360, Navisworks is preferred.

Strong understanding of local and international electrical design codes and regulations.

Experience with electrical calculation tools (Dialux, ETAP, or similar).

Excellent technical reporting, communication, and coordination skills.

Member of the Jordan Engineers Association (PE or equivalent license is a plus).
