About the Role:
Cambridge Engineering Consultants is looking for a Junior Structural Engineer with a strong foundation in structural design and high proficiency in Revit Structure. You will support our structural design team on large-scale, multidisciplinary projects in Jordan and the Gulf, working within BIM-driven environments and contributing to the production of coordinated, high-quality deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
-Assist in the structural modeling of reinforced concrete and steel buildings using Revit Structure, adhering to LOD and BIM execution standards.
-Support the preparation of structural drawings, schedules, and shop drawing packages.
-Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and BIM teams to ensure clash-free designs.
-Conduct basic structural analysis and calculations using ETABS, SAFE, and SAP2000 under the supervision of senior engineers.
-Participate in QA/QC processes and maintain proper documentation for design stages (SD, DD, IFC).
-Respond to design feedback and contribute to technical discussions in internal coordination meetings.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
-0–2 years of experience in a structural design or drafting role.
-Proficient in Revit Structure, including creating/modifying families, annotations, and sheets.
-Familiarity with BIM workflows and coordination tools (e.g., Navisworks, BIM 360) is a strong plus.
-Basic knowledge of structural analysis tools (ETABS, SAFE, or SAP2000).
-Strong attention to detail, problem-solving attitude, and eagerness to learn.
-Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
-Member of the Jordan Engineers Association or eligible for registration.
