About the Role:
Cambridge Engineering Consultants is seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer to join our MEP team. The selected candidate will support the design and modeling of HVAC and plumbing systems for high-profile developments across Jordan and the Gulf region. A strong understanding of mechanical design fundamentals, Revit MEP proficiency, and an eagerness to grow in a collaborative BIM-driven environment are key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the design of mechanical systems, including HVAC, chilled water, ventilation, and plumbing networks.

Support the preparation of HVAC layouts, duct and pipe routing, equipment schedules, and mechanical calculations.

Model mechanical systems using Revit MEP in line with BIM execution plans and project-specific LOD requirements.

Coordinate closely with architectural, structural, and electrical teams to ensure fully integrated, clash-free models.

Perform basic load calculations, pressure drop analysis, and documentation under the guidance of senior engineers.

Contribute to the preparation of construction documents, including IFC and shop drawings.

Participate in internal QA/QC reviews and drawing standardization efforts.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

0–3 years of experience in mechanical building services design.

Proficient in Revit MEP and AutoCAD (experience with HAP, Elite, or similar tools is an advantage).

Basic knowledge of international mechanical codes (ASHRAE, SMACNA) and local regulations.

Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a proactive learning attitude.

Good communication and team collaboration skills.

Membership or eligibility for membership in the Jordan Engineers Association (JEA).
