MEP Value Engineering
Value engineering can be applied to all aspects of construction including Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems. Value engineering involves the analysis of the functions of a project, system, equipment, product, or service to improve reliability, performance, safety, quality and lifecycle costs.
Our engineers are experts in spotting potential opportunities for cost savings in projects of any nature whether commercial, residential or industrial; and can successfully bring down the cost of the project without compromising functionality through comprehensive value engineering studies…
Cambridge Believes that BIM is used for creating and managing data during the design, construction, and operations process. BIM integrates multi-disciplinary data to create detailed digital representations that are managed in an open cloud platform for real-time collaboration. Using BIM gives you greater visibility, better decision-making, more sustainable options, and cost-savings on AEC projects.
Major BIM modeling benefits
- The ability to validate building designs for cost, site feasibility, performance analysis, and to quickly correct design elements based on data analysis.
- Visualizing complex concepts in three dimensions (Visualize Projects in Preconstruction).
- Improve project coordination and detect conflicts or clashes before they occur.
- Space-use simulations and 3D visualizations allow clients to experience what the space will look like offering the ability to make changes before construction start. Having a greater overview from the beginning minimizes expensive and time-consuming changes later.
- Reduce the amount of rework needed on any given job by avoiding clashes. With BIM, you have the opportunity to plan it right before you build onsite. You can avoid last-minute changes and unforeseen issues by enabling easy reviewing and commenting across multiple disciplines.

Indoor Air Quality ( IAQ )
Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) refers to the air quality within and around buildings and structures, especially as it relates to the health and comfort of building occupants. Understanding and controlling common pollutants indoors can help reduce your risk of indoor health concerns. Health effects from indoor air pollutants may be experienced soon after exposure or, possibly, years later. Indoor pollution sources that release gases or particles into the air are the primary cause of indoor air quality problems. Inadequate ventilation can increase indoor pollutant levels by not bringing in enough outdoor air to dilute emissions from indoor sources and by not carrying indoor air pollutants out of the area. High temperature and humidity levels can also increase concentrations of some pollutants.
Training
One of the main goals of Cambridge Engineering is to provide comprehensive training programs for engineers since we are aware of its importance and how it will develop and introduce them to the practical-life work experience. Our plan is to give engineers distinguished training programs in all the fields we work with.
